I remember the good old days when my mom would bake homemade chocolate chip cookies. The cookies would turn out so good, we would gobble them all up within a day!
Now me being keto, I thought my cookie days were over until I discovered High Key Mini Cookies.
Marketed as being low carb keto friendly, this product has become hyped all over the keto forums.
These low carb cookies have become one of my favorite go-to desserts, which help bring back the nostalgic days of being a kid.
In this article, let’s review the stats on these cookies and find out how delicious the taste is compared to regular cookies.

How Do High Key Mini Cookies Taste?
High Key created these cookies in one flavor, chocolate chip. The flavor resembles a Chips Ahoy type texture and crunch but not as sweet. This less sweet taste is expected with a low carb, low sugar cookie.
When reading the 5-star reviews on Amazon, most people agree on the taste and texture. It is described as having the right amount of sweetness and crunch, something other low carb cookies lack. Some said it tastes even “better” than Chips Ahoy cookies which is a pretty bold claim for low sugar, low carb cookie.
A couple of reviewers noted the added erythritol sweetener also gives the cookie a cooling sensation, which both said it didn’t affect the taste.
Overall, what to expect is a similar texture to chips ahoy, but a little less sweet in taste. Perfect for those looking to satisfy that sweet tooth while keeping it healthy.
When Should I Eat These?
Since this snack is created for low carb eaters, it won’t hurt your keto path if you overindulge a little. I’m not saying go crazy and eat all 3 bags in one sitting, but if you have 1 bag in one sitting, it will have little effect.
It’s recommended to have as a snack in between meals or a quick dessert after a meal. Also great to have when traveling or as a late night couch treat.
What are the Benefits?
Gluten Free and Grain Free are some of the remarkable features this product has to offer. These mini cookies are low in sugar, low in carbs, and is made with natural ingredients like almond flour, coconut oil, and collagen.
Its nice knowing you’re consuming real natural ingredients that benefit the keto lifestyle. The almond flour is a great alternative to grains and the coconut oil provides healthy fats while the added collagen can help benefit skin health.
I should mention there are only 2 net carbs per serving! (11g of carbs – 2g of fiber -7g of Erythritol = 2g of net carbs).
That means there is a total of 4 net carbs per bag. Perfect macros for anyone looking to maintain a low carb keto diet.
What are the Negatives?
I’m a little disappointed that it contains milk. This ingredient makes it off limits to anyone who follows a vegan diet and anyone who is dairy intolerant, which is unfortunate.
Reviewers on Amazon who rated this 1 and 2 stars were not happy about how small these cookies are in size. One cookie is similar to a half dollar coin which is pretty small compared to your normal baked cookie. But they do call these “mini cookies” for a reason.
Where to Buy High Key Mini Cookies?
The general consensus among the reviews on Amazon give this a thumbs up on taste and ingredients. That’s why its currently rated as Best Seller under Chocolate Chip Snack Cookies on Amazon.
If you decide to give these mini cookies a try, make sure to check out the price and reviews for yourself before purchasing.
