Keto and Co Hot Breakfast Review – Keto Oatmeal Replacement?

Are you currently looking for a Keto Oatmeal Replacement?

Then check out this keto-friendly and low carb Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat alternative that will make you jump for joy.

Specially made for the keto lifestyle, Keto and Co have released a product called Hot Breakfast, which has a similar consistency and texture as oatmeal.

The difference is this product is made with coconut flour instead of the standard oats.

Let’s check out the full ingredients below.

What are the Ingredients and Nutrition Facts?

Keto and Co Hot Breakfast contains simple ingredients for anyone following a low carb diet.

These ingredients are organic coconut flour, Psyllium Husk, Natural Flavors, Guar Gum, Stevia. Please note this contains Tree Nuts (Coconuts).

How Do You Prepare Keto and Co Hot Breakfast?

To prepare this delicious oatmeal alternative, put two tablespoons of melted Coconut oil into a microwave safe bowl and then add two tablespoons of hot breakfast mix.

Add one cup of purified water and stir.

Microwave high for 1 to 2 minutes.

When finished microwaving, let it sit for at least 1 minute to settle.

If you prefer to cook this on the stovetop, follow the first step of putting the coconut oil and breakfast mix but into a bowl.

Add 1 cup of boiling water and let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes while lightly stirring.

Both ways are easy methods, but I prefer the stovetop method. Takes longer but it feels more natural.

If you would like to substitute coconut oil for a different type of fat, grass-fed butter is a great replacement choice.

How Does Keto and Co Hot Breakfast Taste?

Hot Breakfast comes in three different kinds.

Plain (Unsweetened)

Maple Brown Sugar (Stevia)

Maple Brown Sugar (Sucralose)

I highly recommend going with the unsweetened and stevia options. These options are best suited for keto.

The difference between the Sucralose option compared to the Stevia is Sucralose is known to raise your blood sugar levels, especially when consumed in large amounts.

Stevia, on the other hand, is a completely natural sugar recommended for diabetics and keto dieters.

When it comes to taste, it wasn’t too bad. It has a decent oatmeal type flavor with a touch of sweetness. But its also lacking that oatmeal texture. I mean, it has some, but definitely could use some more.

If you want some more texture, you can add some crushed up almonds, walnuts, or pecans. Also goes great with a few raspberries.

What are the Benefits?

Hot Breakfast is filled with benefits. This product contains real coconuts that are highly beneficial for the body instead of the high carb traditional oats.

Miss eating oatmeal for breakfast now that your keto?

With only 4.2 grams of net carbs per serving, be able to once again enjoy a bowl of oatmeal without that carb crash.

You also get 8 grams of dietary packed fiber to keep your gut microbes happy.

Highly recommended to take with you when camping.

You can even enjoy it with a bulletproof coffee for a wonderful breakfast meal.

What are the Negatives?

Some reviewers on Amazon noticed stomach and digestion issues after consuming this product.

I believe it’s from the added Psyllium Husk which is known for being a bulk-forming laxative.

Even though the stomach issues are never fun, you can be sure the psyllium husk is at least helping get rid of toxins from the body.

But its always best to start with one serving to see how you react, then move on from there.

Where to Buy Keto and Co Hot Breakfast?

I found all 3 options for sale on Amazon. The price is quite reasonable for the 8 servings you get in one bag.

If your craving some oatmeal but strictly following a ketogenic diet, give this a try. It will remind you of the good old days of eating oatmeal as a kid.
